INITIAL CONSULTATION :

I offer an initial consultation session to see how it might feel for us to work together. At this meeting we may discuss what brings you to therapy, what you might hope to change, need support with, or any anxieties you hold around the idea of coming to counselling. I usually suggest to take a few days to think about how this session impacts you and, if it feels right to work together we can arrange how to proceed. 
I offer both open-ended and short-term therapy. If you would prefer the latter, six sessions is usually a good place to start.

ONGOING SESSIONS :

The sessions take place at the same time each week. Sometimes less frequent sessions can be considered. If we decide to work together then all missed sessions (excluding my own holidays and cancellations) either need to be paid for or rearranged. We therefore need to think carefully together about the commitment we are making to one another.
